Yeah, my first batch I used the unlined butcher paper, which is pretty much the equivalent of using parchment paper. Oils seeped through the paper and leeched into the wood. I had to stick that mold into a shoebox and cover it with baking soda to try to pull out the scent. Its been in there about 2 months now, mainly because I keep forgetting to take it out - its my 2lb loaf mold and I really need to pull it and clean it up. I need to make more smaller batches

I love my 3lb log mold and my silicone log molds, but I want my smaller mold so I can work on different fragrances. I'm not up to measuring out enough soap batter for individual bars and doing just one FO per cavity. I don't have the time with nearly 2 year old twins

If you can't find it locally, I know Amazon's US site sells the Reynolds Freezer Paper, so maybe you can get it from Amazon. Or you could schedule a day to pop over the border and pick it up on this side? My local Walmart and other grocery stores here carry it so you could probably find it pretty easy on this side.
