Hi, everybody! I've been doing M&P soap for about two years now, and I made my first batch of CP soap two days ago. The bars are cut and curing now, and as far as I can tell, they turned out well!
Nothing fancy, but I wanted to start simply to increase my chances of success. The soap is a simple three-oil recipe (olive, coconut, and palm). I used the gram measurements and superfatted at 7%. No colorant, but I did use a fragrance oil that was reported to behave well in CP. The scent is Rosemary Mint.
Here's the soap in the mold, gelling on the left and completed 24 hours later:
Here are the cut bars and the bars on the curing rack:
I was nervous before I started, but it seems everything went well. After cutting, I wet my finger with some distilled water, rubbed it on the top of the soap and a couple of the cut surfaces, and put my finger to my tongue and I didn't detect any zap (although the FO was a bit minty and tingly

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone here at the forum for all of your help. Before I started, I searched past forum topics and posted some questions of my own, and gleaned a great deal of knowledge from all of you. I also got a lot of help from Anne-Marie's videos and the many books I read by some wonderful authors. Thank you to everyone for helping feel more prepared and confident!
And now the waiting ...
