Three things that popped out right away (less to do with the descriptions) for me that you might want to consider addressing - even though you mention someone should contact you regarding the shipping fee - that won't stop someone from buying it and they wil not be charged shipping. You really don't want to find youself in that position. You should package your soap in a mailer (or however you plan to package) and weigh it. Find zipcodes N/S/E/W of you on the coasts and see using the USPS how much it would weigh - find the right price and determine what should be charged for (s/h) to ship one soap and setup a shipping profile in the US. One thing I did was poke around at other soap shipping profiles who had similar weight as mine. I then figured it out based on how I packaged and came up with the appropriate fee. I encourage you to take a look at this!
The other thing is the photos - you should try and use up at least 3 photos. - taking from different angles Yes, it's alot of work but it will pay off !!
Tagging - you want to use all tags. Check out my site as an example - I'm still learning and striving but I think you'll see what I mean - with the photos and the tags .

As for the write ups you just have to think about what motivated you to come up with the design and the fragrance - and start typing. Also don't type it in the listing - go to MS word and play around a bit then when you have it copy it over. That might help too. I have trouble too as well but I actually enjoy the description activity. I sometimes I use song bites, phrases or quotes. You'll get the hang after you've done a few.
