Melt and Pour Bath Crayons

What You’ll Need:
4 oz. Clear Melt and Pour
 18 Lip Balm Tubes
Lip Balm Pouring Tray (optional)
3 mL White Tea and Ginger Fragrance Oil
Red LabColor (small)
Orange LabColor (small)
Canary LabColor (small)
Emerald LabColor (small)
Brilliant Blue LabColor (small)

ONE: In a heat-safe container, cut and melt the clear melt and pour soap in the microwave. Melt the soap in 10 second bursts, stirring in between each burst. Next, add 3 mL of White Tea and Ginger Fragrance Oil. Stir well. If you are using the Lip Balm Pouring Tray, put the lip balm tubes into the tray. The tray makes it easy to pour the soap into the tubes!

TWO: Pour .6 oz. of the melted clear soap in a small container. Then, and add 1 mL of the undiluted Red LabColor and use a spoon to incorporate. If need be, melt the soap in the microwave using 2 second bursts. That makes it easier to pour. Pour the melted soap into three of the lip balm tubes and spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol to pop any bubbles.

THREE: Pour .6 oz. of melted soap in a small container, and then add 1 mL of undiluted Orange LabColor. Mix the color in well. If need be, melt the soap in the microwave using 2 second bursts. That makes it easier to pour. Pour the soap into three of the lip balm tubes and spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol to pop any bubbles.

FOUR: Repeat this process with the green, yellow and blue colors. If need be, melt the soap in the microwave using 2 second bursts. That makes it easier to pour.

FIVE: For the purple color, we found the best results came from a mix of Red LabColor with Brilliant Blue LabColor. To get the color, we mixed 7 drops Red LabColor with 3 drops Brilliant Blue LabColor. Stir to incorporate the colors, and pour the soap into three lip balm tubes.

SIX: Let the soap fully cool and harden for about 30 minutes. Remove the tubes from the tray and enjoy!
