 Post subject: commercial soap smells

I wondered what is the smell they add to commercial soap? It's not like any general flavour, it just smells like...well, soap. Does anyone know what fragrances they use?

I don't know what fragrances they use in commercial soap, but I think Brambleberry's Soapy Clean fo smells a lot like what a lot of store bought soap smells like.

Some commercial companies use what's called a masking fragrance. What that actually is, I don't know.

I prefer the smell of my unscented bars... they smell just like soap to me. :wink:
