Teach Soap

Having got the production out of the way (30 presentation boxes of soaps, a dozen 250mL skin creams, a new batch of face cream) I was off to the suppliers today to buy stuff for the lab.
I got 5Kg of SLeS to make a low-sulphate shampoo for oily hair; some vanilla FO from a new source; some Coco Beach perfume, which was twice as expensive as any of the others, at $70 per kilo; some cinnamon-apple FO (fresh, tasty) and some Lotus Flower FO which is a steal from some other client who ordered it specially for a skin cream.

I'm planning to finalise my "Rejuve" cream, develop a new shampoo, and test the new fragrances in CP soap. What are you planning?

Sounds like you're going to be very busy!
I'm doing just the opposite - heading to Florida to spend the Christmas holiday with family and friends.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Painting Christmasy pictures on plain gift bags so we can pollute less by not using wrapping paper and by reusing these for a few years! Also doing some baking, and planning a big English Christmas supper with roast beef, yorkshire pudding, braised brussel sprouts, roasted potatoes, honey carrots and a caesar salad (not normal for an English supper, but a family tradition). As well as a pumpkin pie for my husband. Also making a reservation at a super italian place for next Friday for my birthday dinner, yay for yum! Boo for another year older.

I learn so much when I can't leave well enough alone!

A very happy birthday Heather! Getting older every year IS WONDERFUL! Think of the alternative . . . pushing up daisies is not my idea of what I want to be doing.

As to my plans . . .

My daughter and I are going to a work friend's house for Christmas Eve dinner during the afternoon. I work that night. Get off work at 3:40 am and then get all the presents behind the love seat. Go get my daughter from child care at 5:00 am and walk her through the house and past the nearly gift-empty tree to bed. Get presents from behind the couch and video camera ready. Go to bed for a nap.

Get up with overly excited little girl who will be screeching, "Mommy, get up! GET UP! Santa DID come! He DID! Come on, Mommy! Hurry up!" Open presents.

Go to Christmas dinner at another friend's house for 1pm. Get home in time to get ready for work and work until 3:40 am again. Get daughter from child care at 5:00am and GET SLEEP!

We have to wait until tomorrow night to put the presents under the tree because Shadow (my border collie) LOVES to unwrap things! Plus I think her and Rainy (my husbands keeshonden) and the cats (Angel, Emma and Misty) are getting the lions share of the presents. Spoiled? Noooooooo *looks innocent*

Hubby is not going to bed tomorrow night, he works 5:30pm-1:30am and we have to be at his sisters' place for 7. He can't ever sleep before 4 and he thinks he'd be crankier with 3 hours of sleep than with none. I agree with him!!!

Zombie? This is more like a regular thing for me. At least my daughter is old enough I can get a few hours of sleep!
