I'd like to try my hand at make bath bombs/fizzies and was wondering if the use of vanilla extract would be good for both fragrance and colourant. Cinnamon as well?

Thanks!

Vanilla extract has alcohol and maybe glycerin? If so, that might work, but will discolor over time. I would not use cinnamon as that could be irritating.

If you're going for a light brown, cocoa works well in bath bombs & isn't usually a skin irritant. Plus it won't react with the bath bomb to set it off early. I'd go lightly though because too much cocoa and you'll have brown stuff floating on top of the water.
