Teach Soap

Any suggestions for EOs to blend with tea tree oil? Found some leftover when I used to use it for my acne but now I don't need it anymore for that. Not crazy about tea tree oil scent in general. I find it too strong, but I don't want to just throw it out. I figure blended with the right EOs maybe it'll be all right.

Peppermint and/or Spearmint go well with it (I have a peppermint and tea tree foot scrub)

Rosemary and Mint would be my choices.

I blended natural tea tree oil with cedar and rosemary EOs for my 'hard working hand soap'. I think the blend is clean and pleasant and like what each essential oil added to the purpose of the soap as well.

Almost forgot, I also added a little to my 'winter woods' blend as well. That one is about a third (more would be too overpowering) evergreens (fir and cedar) and the rest things you might find in the woods such as oakmoss, fern, florals etc. I added a splash of tea tree oil to give it a touch of 'briteness' -for lack of a better word as it already had plenty of depth

Is peppermint good for liquid soap? I remember years ago some clerk in a fancy boutique telling me that peppermint EO shouldn't be put on skin products because it can irritate the skin. Though using it for foot products like a salt scrub sound good. My feet might be the only part of my skin that's not sensitive.

I put peppermint and tea tree in my shampoo.

I guess in small amounts peppermint won't hurt me. This boutique I mentioned was one of those "choose your product, choose your scent" shops and the clerk put a ton of FO for an 8 fl oz bottle of body oil I bought. No wonder I developed allergies later in life.

I think I'll try rosemary and peppermint.

Lavender is also really nice with tea tree. Or lavender, lemon and tea tree.
