My dad has always said that I fell into a pile of crap and came out smelling like roses. I have always ended up on the good side when things have gone bad in my life. When I got laid off I took my parent up on 2 acres of land that for years my dad tried to buy me out of. I moved a paid off mobile home (my dad tried to get me to sell) onto that 2 acres with my severace package. Told the bank to take the house and shove it. So I am pretty blessed. Not only do I have those 2 acres but pretty much free run with 10 of the 34 acres we live on. Its slow going sometimes and money gets tight but we just keep plugging along. My hope is to have a farm store in the future. The road in front of our house is going to become part of a major freeway system and we are going to be building a shop right on the road. Selling soaps, herbs, veggies hopefully milk, cheese, and meat grown right here. We have a TON of research and prep work to do but its a goal.

OK so number 8 was born today. about 30 minutes old (or less) in the photo. Still trying to figure out where her feet were.

he will probably get vetoed...I often call those goats by so many different names, all the ones that get changed to "soap" on this forum LMBO

So adorable! And they're just the right kind of goats as far as I'm concerned. The once with nice long floppy ears... so cute!!
