Teach Soap

Just wanted to share.... about 15 months ago I had ordered 4 new individual silicone molds and was sooo excited about them. But then when I went to use them...they were gone. I had searched high and low, finally figuring that I must have tucked them into a box for the thrift store. My heart settled with the fact that someone was going to enjoy these. Two of the molds I decided I could not live without and reordered (and yes I do love them).
Well, next week I am having knee surgery and decided I needed to have some quiet activities on hand to do. I went digging in my yarn bins so I could do some knitting projects... and there were my molds! Along with a soap I had made just before that time. That sure made my day!
Now all I have to do is get this over with, rehab and heal so I can make some soap again with my new molds.

Glad you found them! But why did you put them in your yarn bins????

Well Linda, that is the big question. They were in a small basket in the bin with some other yarn. I think I had taken all of this to the basement together and when I went to put things away just noted the yarn and in the bin it went. I had looked through the basement for these molds but never went through the yarn bin because....why would I have put soap molds in there.
Thanks for the good thoughts.... if nothing else I am one to follow the doctors orders exactly. And I found myself a new ortho doc that has a fantastic reputation as my previous one, who I loved, retired.

Good luck with your knee surgery and recovery! I can totally relate to what happened with your soap molds. At least you found them and a bonus batch of soap! Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm still looking for my kitchen scissors. It's been months now! I have a pair in the basement and living room and a few upstairs so it's not like I should have taken the, somewhere else!

I do this too, 'cept when I put them away its always "where I won't lose them". Then I can never find them!

Get better soon! Knee surgery can be a pain, literally, my sister had to have her tendons moved because they went through the joint. I remember helping her with stuff for a while after that Hope you recover super fast!!!
