Ok. Nobody laugh. But can I use liquid food colour to colour my CP soaps? :roll:

Nope, food colouring is not a good choice for soap!

Make sure when you order your colors that you use the correct ones for the type of soap you're making. For example, Bramble berry actually has a link for liquid Lab Colors for CP soap vs. MP soap. I really like their liquid colors compared to some others I bought at the local Michaels. In fact, I just placed a big order for colors.

Remember, you can always mix them to make new colors!

I have used food coloring a few times.
It worked fine for me.
Can anyone tell me why food colors should not be used. I thought what you can eat is fit to put on the skin too!

If you use food coloring then people using your soap may become stained or the sink stained or the towel stained.
