Do any of you use Orris Root in your cp soap? If so what is the purpose? What affect does it have on the soap and does it have anything to do with fragrance?

Oh PS.

My markets are now closed and I'm soaping and packaging for a few Christmas Bazaars and Harvest Festivals. I've been so busy haven't been able to post. Good to be back and having a breather. There are some seriously beautiful soaps on the flaunt blogs! Good going everyone so pretty!

Orris root is a sensitizer. Some people have used it to anchor scent, but you would be better using clay or an essential oil like litsea, vetiver or Patchouli.
