Ooooh Juniper Breeze - how did that one soap?? I have that scent and want to try it...

Love the little balls on top too - are those the sugar decorations? They always make a soap bar look so good!

Awesome info - thanks!! I LOVE Juniper Breeze smell and fell in love with it after buying a sample on eBay and used it in bath bombs. I've been wanting to make a soap with it, but unsure how it behaved and didn't want to waste any of my favourite scent lol. I'd rather smell it from a bottle for the rest of my life if it didn't work with soap.

Roxana well done. Beautiful soaps. I have hesitated trying Gardenia so I am glad you got it. The Hawaiian ginger is gorgeous what colorants did you use?

I just soaped an awesome FO from WSP....Jungle Love. It had a very slight acceleration but only in the annatto seed infusion half but wonderful scent throw.

Oh these soaps are so very pretty. I swear I'm envious of the talents all of you possess. I finally get ingredients but am not doing well with them. First batch I accidentally picked up an olive/canola blend thinking it was my olive oil . . . threw that batch away along with my wonderful "Energy" fo. That FO was fabulous to work with in case anyone wants to know.

The second batch is reasonably ok, but it started to thicken so fast that I had to hurry to get it into the mold and it got a few air bubbles. Still, it's pretty.

The third batch was very strange. Used Strawberry FO, it riced and seized and then lost just about all its fragrance. The soap itself was not good. I did a sunflower oil soap at 7% super fat and oil was oozing out. I ended up rebatching it with no additional FO or additional anything.

I think I'll skip the sunflower oil. It has the same properties as grapeseed oil, but I had no problems making soap with GO. I don't think it's the lye, although these are the first batches I'm making with tech grade lye. I'm figuring it has to be the sunflower oil. Oh well.

Finally managed to get some photos taken of my soaps that are ready. They've only been sitting on the curing rack for like 3 months haha!

This is my batch scented with BB Energy, and I just LOVE the graffiti look on the top!!
