Teach Soap

So I have dove full force (I think) into soap making after much research and reading...ect...
My first attempt , I made via CP some shampoo bars (because that is what I want to master in) and all went well till I let them trace to much, thus it was such a goopy mess to pour into my mold..... umm, yeah.... not so great, but lesson learned. (still curing them because even though they are not pretty, they may still work)

My second batch I made some simple Castile soap. Everything went well... now curing.

My third batch, hopefully a picture will attach, was made in the crock pot. Must say I LOVE making soap that way. I think I am going to go that route for now.
I made a small batch (18oz loaf) so it is small, but I was able to get it out of my mold, and cut it to cure for a week or two.
I scented it with lemon, sweet orange, and pink grapefruit. Smells great!

Congratulations! I just made my first batch of soap a couple days ago, too! Isn't it addictive? I am an art major at the end of my semester, and while I should be thinking about art, all I can think about is soaping! It's so rewarding. I'm going to make another batch tonight!
