Okay, this may be a crazy question, but can I use mp imbeds in cp soap? If so, how?

If not, how does one get neat imbeds in cp soap?

Sure you can. Just keep the soap cool so the MP embeds don't melt.

How do you make cp imbeds? I'm assuming the same way as mp, ie. after trace, fragrance and color, put in smaller molds, wait to gel and then cut up and insert?

I actually color and fragrance before trace, but yes - I have done it with cookie cutters and thin tube molds. Either way.

Whoops, that's what I meant... I typed too fast and messed up the chronilogical order of things.

Thanks for the advice. Now do you make the shapes after it's cured and then insert into a new batch. I guess what I'm asking is when are the shapes actually cut and then inserted into the batch?

I've cut my shapes as soon as they were hard enough to cut. The newer the soap shapes, the easier it is for them to stick in another batch.

Anne-Marie tested this out and I thought I would share the results with you.

Melt and Pour does great in CP soap. It generally solidifies nicely around the melt and pour. I made a batch of it the other day and uploaded photos here:
