Teach Soap

So I am planning on making a 100% Coconut Oil Soap with a 20% Superfat. I want to use coconut milk in place of my water. If I do that should I bring down my Superfat a bit to account for the fat in the milk?



Also, I was wondering what the highest percent anyone has scented at. I have a fo I like but even at 1 oz pp it's a little light for me. (It is a lighter scent.) I was wondering if it would be safe to add a little bit more fo.

For my 100% coconut soap with 20% superfat, even with the coconut milk, it makes for a nice hard bar. As far as the fragrance, I won't go above 1 oz. of fragrance per lb. of soap. Some vendors do list the maximum allowed (or safe) for bath and body application. I would not go higher just because the scent is light.

It's not horribly light but it's fainter than I would like. I think I'm just gone do a couple of test runs with some fragrance blends to see if I find something to anchor it down a bit.

I like really strong scented soap.
