Teach Soap

Sometimes having visuals helps to understand how to do things. I think that is true for posting images from Photobucket, too. So I thought I'd try to do a quick little guide with some visuals in hopes that it helps some who were having difficulties.

Unfortunately Photobucket will be changing their site soon. I'm one of the testers for the new version. Took me 10 minutes to find the IMG link. I REALLY hope they change that, other than that the new site is awesome! I will post a tutorial for the new site once its live! =D

Well that is a bummer. When I get a little extra time I will check it out and make a "revised" tutorial for the newest edition of Photobucket.

Thanks for this! I was working on one for photobucket and realized it was the beta version so I wasn't going to post it until I knew that everything was completely switched over.
Anyone on the beta version now: to find the IMG code, click on the picture you want and scroll down a little on the right side there is an 'IMAGE LINKS' box. Click the 'IMG code' and it auto copies. (I also have the IMG thumb code, don't get that!) Paste into Reply box in forum. Preview. Submit. Ta Da!

Now you click the gear in the corner, then "media links". Will add some pictures when I get off the phone!!

Nevermind, can't use a snip tool for it because you have to mouse over it to get the gear. The gear is grey and appears in the upper right hand corner when you mouse over the picture, clicking it opens a drop down menu. You then click "media links" and it pops up with a link list similar to the one that used to be under the pictures. You want to click the IMG link. It will automatically copy the link so all you need to do it paste it into your post!
