I responded to her with the answer below but thought you might have some great ideas if you work with Tallow more than I do. It's been quite a few years since I last made 100% Tallow Soap.

I said:

I've made CP soap from Tallow that I rendered myself and it traces quickly. It's the nature of tallow to produce a harder bar - and as a general rule of thumb, oils that are solid at room temperature trace faster than liquid oils. If it were my recipe, I'd do at least 25 to 40% Olive Oil or Canola oil to try and slow down that trace and also make a slightly more nourishing or mild bar.

Do you have any other ideas?

I don't have any other ideas, but I am a conscientious objector to tallow, so for future reference, if there are any "tallow" type posts, can I "insert other hard oil here" and (generally) be ok? :D With proper lye calcs, of course...
