That accidental swirl is something else! I came for inspiration prior to my own soaping tonight and I may just have found it Ya'll and your swirls....you are some crazy enablers you know it? I love it though...now if only I can get one half that neat looking!

Haha, yeah I see it now too. The awesome thing is every single bar of soap looks completely different too. Like I said before there is no way I will ever be able to recreate this swirl in the slightest. So sad.

Oh my word! You all are some very busy bees! I haven't been able to make a batch in a while...life just sometimes gets in the way. BUT I have to say that I am in love with the soaps you all have been doing!
Julie (BAMA) - I absolutely LOVE the colors and the swirl you did. And a happy belated birthday to you!
Lilah - the wedding soaps are just gorgeous! What did your great niece say when she saw them? I am sure she was overjoyed!
Debbie - the bars you made were so nice looking! You got a very nice swirl going on. Eucalypus, lavender, peppermint, and lemongrass sounds very nice!
ahutchins - you got me craving hot chocolate! And what a very nice swirl you got, too!

So...I just HAD to go poking at things this afternoon...HAD to...couldn't stop myself! But I did not cut the whole thing up, just shaved off the very end to see what I would get...here's my fall colors hanger swirl madness (because I will go mad if I don't poke at stuff sooner than I should):





I ONLY cut that one end piece off...and I really like the top on that one


THEN...we have my whipped soap spoon swirl craziness - crazy because I thought I was over swirling it. I like the gentle pastel colors and the sparklies on this one too! This one I only have a side view of - I resisted the urge so far to crack it open like an egg to look at it, but I don't know that I can resist much longer. Though from the side it looks pretty entertaining...



I think I could have played more with that one, I get the feeling it may not be very heavy swirly...but I was trying so hard not to keep going with it!

So...there you have it...what I do when the chicks and ducks keep me up at night

Hello Soapy Friends,
I have been on hiatus from the forum for a few days. ( pulling 3 double shifts back to back). Oh boy, I have missed some terrific soap pics. Wanted to extend a big 'Huzaah' to all the soap superstars!

Here are some soaps I made the other day:

Oatmeal Stout made with beer and scented with BB's Oatmeal Stout. I wish I had added some oatmeal...looks kind of plain.


Rosemary Mint Shaving Soap


Queen of Denial. Disappointed with this one - the FO description said no discoloration, but it did. On the bright side, it smells great! Colored with Cellini Red Mica and Aqua Pearl Mica.


Black Rasberry Vanilla - love working with this FO! Colored with Merlot Sparkle Mica and cocoa powder.
