My latest soap Peppermint Hot Cocoa! I also think I have found my "recipie" with this soap. Tried a sliver today and after only 4 days it lathers so well and left my hands super soft and smooth. Cant wait to see how great it is after cure

Hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps is called a Peppermint Kiss . . . just in case you're naming this soap and need a suggestion! I know it smells yummy 'cuz I occasionally have a Peppermint Kiss like tonight to celebrate my very first batch of CP.

Okay, I know I've been mentioning it . . . alot, but I'm kind of excited about it (as you all your eyes wondering if you blabbered like this when you made your first batch!)! Here it is 6 hours later and the batch is still warm, but it looks like soap (still won't take it out of the mold). I'm thinking I might bring it in the house so it doesn't melt during the daytime heat. Yesterday was triple digits.

But back to the soap at hand -- I liked your colors and the swirl you made. But since I am so new -- is it safe to use it before it is cured? I would think you could get hurt. Please correct me if I am wrong. I'm trying to learn.

I don't think it will hurt you as long as it is not zapping but not cured will use up really quickly. Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong

Thanks Bama and jilly. Bama I scented with these EO's eucalypus, lavender, peppermint, andl emongrass. I like the name jilly! Maybe I'll use it if the colors stick and don't morph on me.

Pretty swirls, Debbie! I love the colors. Eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint, and lemongrass sound wonderful together!

Ahutchins, I love your Peppermint Hot Cocoa soap! I have a little bit of Hot Cocoa FO left over and thought about combining it with some peppermint EO, too. It sounds yummy!

Great choc\mint soap! And that is funny because we were just talking about this at work on Sunday. It started with a co-worker saying how much he loves the mint milkyway bars...then we went to the peppermint thin mints and then to peppermint patties...then I said, maybe I should make a choc and peppermint soap for Christmas! And here you are, now I can hardly wait. I just put in my BB order as my peppermint is getting low.

Thanks! I was actually gonna do a Mantra Swirl and I didn't realize till half way through pouring the first color that it was running underneath my dividers. I forgot to make sure they were pushed down all the way. Oops! Well I just decided to keep pouring in the initial pattern I was going to and then stuck the back end of a spoon in and and did a figure 8 swirl through the mold and then did little curly swirls on top. The sad thing is I will probably never be able to recreate this swirl in the slightest ever again.

That would be a great accident!! love how it turned out.

May all our attempts create accidents this beautiful! Unbelieveably gorgeous and I like the color combo too!

Well, my first attempt looks solid as a rock, but I keep reading how it should stay in the mold a couple of days. I'm not sure I can wait that long!

Thank you so much everyone!! Also, my daughter (who is 3 and thinks Mommy makes soap only for her lol) wanted a bar to use in the bathroom (she is OCD about washing hands) and because of the super pearly white I used it has these beautiful shimmer in the light that makes it kind of sparkle and I really just can't get enough of the black raspberry vanilla FO. I made some whipped Shea butter with and all I want to do is eat it! Lol.
