I'm heading out to a pool place and a hardware store to find a ph kit for water? I'll go to a hardware store first, as zi think it will be cheeper. Now why do i need to go down to 5.5 instead of 7, isn't 7 neutral or am I wrong.

It's a bubble bar; it shouldn't need much adjustment if you weigh the proportions correctly.
Our skin 'likes' a pH of about 5.5 - 6.0; just add some of the bubble bar to pure water and measure the pH, if it is anywhere between 5 and 7 that will be OK.

I'm thinking of looking for the sorbitol, but about how much or doesn't it matter. I'm thinking like a meatloaf you only put in one egg to get it all to stick together so what about a teaspoon of sorbital?
