Teach Soap

Last time I made a soap with coffe it came out smelling awful. Now I would like to try again and
I wonder do you usually succeed?
I´m going to add some very strong coffe in to some of the soap just before pouring it in to
the molds and then swirl it and decorate with some coffebeans.
What do you think, will it work and smell of coffe? Does anyone have any tips or tricks
to make it better that you would like to share?

Coffee soap always smells bad for awhile. I split my water and added the coffee to the oils. Added coffee grounds at trace but I didn't swirl them. I meant for them to be thruout for the scrubby feel. You are wanting to swirl the coffee or the grounds?

I want to swirl the part of the soap colouered with the coffe letting half of the batch be natural,
then decorate it with the coffebeans to make it look like a pastrey.

I replace all my water with cold coffee and stir the lye into that. It smells to begin with, but it goes away after a few days.
