Teach Soap

I'm looking for something to use in a sugar scrub, but am not sure exactly what I'm looking for, the site I want to order from isn't really clear on the differences of the waxes, so I thought perhaps you kind people could help me out They have several different kinds available which are: Candelilla, Carnauba, Emulsifying Wax NF, Emulsimulse, Incroquat Behenyl TMS-225 (BTMS-225), Incroquat Behenyl TMS-50 (BTMS-50), and Polawax, they also have beeswax.

I also make candles and use a organic kosher soy wax..could I use that? TIA for your help!

Plain waxes are not emulsfiers. You need something like E-wax NF, Polawax or BTMS.

Ok..they have a section for Emulsifiers and those are what I found under that category. So obviously they have some of the right options, but what's the difference between them? Is there really any? Personal preference?

I was looking at saffireblue.ca but it turns out that I wasn't looking where I thought I was and thus the confusion. I didn't think those other waxes could be used as emulsifiers, but I've also seen GSE and Vit. E listed under preservatives (which I know is NOT the case) on some sites..which is why I came here to clarify.

I've been reading swiftcraftmonkey's blog and I think I've got it all sorted out.
