This weekend ventured out to try a different recipe. Used 40% olive oil, and added colloidal oatmeal. I raised the superfat from 5 to 7%. Left in the mold for 48hrs. Cut the soap this morning. I noticed a slight oily sheen. Is this due to the high amount of Olive oil? Supfat %. Safe to say, no zap.

Is the oily sheen one of your oils or does it smell like your fragrance?

I don't have an answer, but wanted to compliment you on the soap - wow! I am in love with any soap that has an "ink sketch" look - like you achieved here.
