Teach Soap

Made a batch yesterday with NG Fresh Ginger. File this one under "truth in advertising" - this scent is RIGHT ON, and I should know - we use tons of ginger in our house. The Boyfriend is also fond of making large batches of candied ginger. Uncanny how real this is - so close to fresh cut ginger, NOT a gingersnap or candy scent.

No acceleration or ricing. Used exactly .5 ounce ppo. Although this is the first soap I've made that DID NOT gel - and the scent is still there (in case this is relevant). The amount I used is perfect IMHO - not too strong or too mellow.

Thanks for letting us know. This sounds like it would be a great scent to have on hand for blends.

It's an FO. NG posts recommended usage rates and then also links to the IFRA/MSDS info for each FO.

Thanks for the review. I had been kind of eyeballing that particular FO, as someone had asked me about ginger soap and fresh ginger EO seems to be kinda pricey. (About $30/ounce at my usual supplier.)

Anita: It is so close to real - I'd never buy a ginger EO unless a person requested "all natural".

Ugh...this one is a fader!!!! Would try more next time. Too bad, its really right on!

Anita: I never knew panzer meant panther in German, though I knew it was the name of one of the tanks used by the Germans in WWII! But naming a tank after a panther makes sense. Maybe they were quieter and stealthier than the other tanks.
