Teach Soap

My TV went to the Great Electronics Store In The Sky Sunday night. So tomorrow I'm going to steel myself and head off to Best Buy to see if I can find a replacement.

It was a Sanyo, a 32-inch screen, with stereo sound. I got 14 years use out of it, so I'm really going to try to find another Sanyo.

I don't want to go smaller than the 32-inch, but I don't need a whole lot bigger, either.

I'd love to be able to go to Wal-Mart or Target and just bring something home, but my late TV is really, really heavy. As in, I can't pick it up heavy. And I'm pretty sure if I find something at Best Buy and they deliver it to me, they'll take away the old one.

I missed "Copper" and the season premier of "Bones". I have the sound just fine, and the music channels I get from Directv still come in. But the new TV season is about to start!

New TV's are actually pretty light. I find. I can pick up my 42inch and move it with little trouble...

OMG! Bless your soul AND your ancient TV! I did have to share though because I do believe we have the SAME TV! (Was your power button missing too? Ours is...lord forbid it is "off" and I can't find the remote...'cause then I can't turn it on!) Look! I have the twin to your old one!



I guess I really do have the last dinosaur in my living room don't I?
