Teach Soap

I want to go conquer a scented soap - FINALLY - so now...which one shall it be?

I have Vanilla Oak, Beau Brummel, Energy, and of course the freebie that came with the box from BB - Moonlight Pomegranate.....though rumor has it the last one is a bit of a beast....

I was thinking no matter WHAT I use I will give it a go HP in the Crockpot.....because it entertains me to watch it bubble up....

So....any thoughts? Which one would you pick for your first scent?

I'm gonna go clean the kitchen first...I shall return!

Lol, I was gonna say Vanilla Oak because my family and I like it. It does however discolor to chocolate brown so I'm going to agree with soapbuddy. Energy!

Hrm, if you're going HP anyhow, and want ultra thick trace... moonlight pomegranate!! It smells SO good! And misbehaviour isn't quite as bad when you actually want a nice super thick trace anyhow. HP is the best way to deal with it actually You know you wann-nna!

I think I shall try a batch of CP soap...drum roll...with ENERGY!!!! Sounds like it's super easy, can't mess it up...just a small batch...one pound...should do me...

AND THEN....THEN...drum roll again...

Since you gotta let the HP soap COOK for a while...I'm gonna do one of those in the morning with that pomegranate...since it's a freebie...it's not a HUGE loss if I screw it up

I'll let ya'll know how it goes I'm kinda excited to see what happens I keep opening the bottles and sniffing...my kitchen smells super good already just from having the bottles uncapped so much

I think I will make some lotion too...some Vanilla Oak lotion perhaps? Since I have my milk thawed and pasteurized and I thawed like 2 quarts...might as well make some lotion right? I'll ya posted!

Doesn't the moonlight pomegranate smell delicious? Even my husband likes it!

It DOES smell delicious! Someone needs to tell BB NOT to send out samples that are going to get people HOOKED! Oh man....boy-o-boy....does that ever smell wonderful!

WHOA! Not what I expected at all! That was easy, that was beautiful, I shed a tear! (could have been the fumes, or the moment, I do not know for sure)

Currently, my soap is chillin' in the freezer...we shall see what comes of this....possibly something good...and soapy Or, I may just end up with an air freshener for my truck


I used the Energy and it was SO SO SO easy! I loved it! AND I made some lotion tonight...and I may go conquer one more batch of soap...we'll see....

This fragrance thing is not too bad, not too bad at all My house smells like Hobby Lobby and I LOVE that smell

Energy is definitely a great FO to soap -it behaves perfectly. I wish they were all like that!

Does anyone else think Energy FO smells like gummy bears??? I love the scent, but once I got that mental image - it's all I can compare it to. I even got a gummy bear shaped mold for it
