Got my Bramblebox in Monday, so it met me at the door when we got here in the pouring rain at 3am Tuesday morning, agh!!!
So far we are loving Sugar Plum Fairy, Gingersnap, Beau Brummel, and Fresh Snow! Woodland Elves is very nice too, a lovely evergreen without being too overpowering and even a little sweetness to it. We put a little bit of Sugar Plum Fairy in an oil warmer while we straightened, unpacked and moved furniture around yesterday. It filled the room so quickly and it's so strong! My honey forgot his deodorant at my mom's house back in LA, so we had to go pick him some up, and he complained the whole time he was browsing deo's that he wanted me to learn to make him some Beau Brummel deodorant haha! The heavy duty column mold seems really sturdy too, I can't wait to try it out! Hopefully I'll be soaping again within the next week or two.
Also, some good news, I went in to my new job yesterday to get some labwork and vaccines done before I officially start work (hopefully next week). I was initially hired as PRN, but they assured me I should get at least 3 days scheduled every week if not up to 5. Naturally I couldn't help feeling anxious about it, but I took the job anyway because I knew it was a great opportunity and figured eventually a full time position would come available. When I went to meet my new coworkers and tour the lab, the lab manager told me they just had a fulltime employee turn in their resignation last Friday, so that position will be available to me if no one with seniority wants it, which she says is doubtful since they are mostly all students! And it's an evening shift so I won't have to get up stupid early in the morning, woohoo! Perfect for me. I feel so fortunate, and it feels like a good sign, helped me feel a little more certain and secure in my move, you know?
That's all I've got
