I have a surplus of breast milk and wanted to try to make soap with it. My son died and I thought it would be wonderful reminder of him once my milk is all gone. I looked for recipes for breast milk soap but didn't have the ingredients to make any of them. I always wanted to try "break the rules" soap so I make that with breast milk instead of goat milk. This stuff is FAB. It's super silky, moisturizing, no residue. I am making sure I have enough milk in the freezer to make at least 4 more batches over the coming months/year.

I'm very sorry to hear about your son :( My condolences. I've heard that breast milk makes a wonderful bar of soap, I'd never have thought to use it as a reminder like you have though. I think its a wonderful idea.

Goddess be with you and your son.

I'm sorry for your loss. Milk makes a good soap.

So sorry for your loss. I think it's marvelous that you're pumping and donating, too!

Sorry for your son. I admire your courage and your spirit to try to make something despite your grief. I've heard that besides soap, breast milk is an excellent skin care ingredient, so why don't you try to apply it in a facial cream, milk etc?

I am so sorry for your heartbreaking loss. What a beautiful way to honor your son now and in the months to come. And what a beautiful, selfless act of love to donate your milk to another family.

Im so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear baby. Most people think soap with breast milk is too weird or somehow not somthing they would want to use .I think it's great ( Id make it for me if I had milk) . You are a brave soul.

I'm so sorry you lossed your beautiful baby son. Making soap from your milk is a touching way to remember him. It is amazing you are sharing your milk to help out another child. That too is a special tribute. I hope you find peace and joy again soon.

That is one of the most touching stories I have ever heard! I am glad to hear you had a little time to be with your son and bless you for sharing your breast milk so another child can benifit, not everyone could do that....you must be very special.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. What a beautiful gift you are giving to another family.
We lost our beautiful baby boy 13 years ago and I wish at the time they had known places where you could donate your breast milk to. I think it would have helped me a lot more emotionally & physically to be able to help other families at that time.

I made some breast milk castile soap recently to use on my 8 month old daughter, but it needs about 6 more months to cure, so I haven't gotten to try it out yet. I'm anxiously waiting though.
