Teach Soap

I purchased some Malibu bottles for some lotion and I am having such a hard time filling them. i have tried a syringe, a plastic spoon, and even a funnel. Can someone please tell me if I should even bother purchasing more of these bottles, or is there a certain way to fill any lotion bottle without it taking forever and cause a mess? Thank you

On Swift's blog she does this:
"If you are using a malibu bottle, you can use a funnel. Put the funnel in the malibu and squish it so the air comes out. Then pour the lotion into the funnel and release the bottle. It will suck the lotion down and you will get a nicely filled bottle!"

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Are we talking about a base or lotion made from scratch? If it's from scratch, I pour when it's still liquid.

Pour at 45-50C and there will be no problem. Not higher or you will deform the bottle.

I like the ketchup type plastic bottles you can get.

I've used cake decorating bags to fill them. That was the easiest way I found.
