I am looking for good scents in M&P soaps.....I do candles too, but am branching out. I am putting in an order at AH/RE, Brambleberry, and possibly Peaks and Elements. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, this is a project for me and my 7 year old daughter, so scents fun for her and I would be great, also 1 for the guys in the house

Tia

If most are good, what are your faves from each place? I really need to narrow down my lists :)

I'm not sure what AH/RE is, but from BB, I REALLY like Cherry Blossom. It's in the Limited Editions section of their website. I wear it almost every day.

Just made a cp batch of Spiced Apple Cider (BB) and love it! Everyone seems to like it, young and old, men and women. Can't wait to try it in M&P.

I really like BB's Apricot Freesia, Cherry Blossom and Dark Rich Chocolate in MP. Their Strawberry is great too, but it discolors kind of pinkish-red.

My mom just got a RE order in. I remember I liked a few, but can't remember which. I do know that I didn't like Zucchini Bread AT ALL.

ETA: I googled.

Semplice, it is Aroma Haven/Rustic Essentials. They are in SC, fairly close to me so shipping shouldn't be to bad :)

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Can anyone recommend a few great kid scents? Any that most kids really like. Also, one I can convince the guys to use, they have only ever used Irish Spring soap and I know they won't use any "girly" scents. Lol. Oh, and they are farmers and hunters, and I found this awesome mold of a whitetail buck that I just have to order, but not sure what scent to do for it.
Thanks again!

I just used up my sample of Sweetgrass from BB. OMG! I absolutely love it! It smells very similar to Irish Spring or another manly store bought soap that my husband uses. Very clean, not floral at all. I can't wait until it is cured and I can use it.

Have you looked at Candle Science? They are in Morrisville, NC. They have some great stuff too. They always seem to ship quick too!

Haven, did you do the sweetgrass on its own or blended. I have only used it as a blend... maybe it is time to try it all alone??

I have tried Candlescience for scent in my candles and love the, but I don't really get anything else from ther and try to order when they have sales. What are your favorite scents from CS for soaps?

I used it on it's own. I absolutely love it but I love really clean scents. It's not overpowering at 1/2 oz per pound. That's all I had so that's all I could use. It's great! (Can you tell I really like it?)

I'd say Litsea EO and any Straight Vanilla blend would be worth it to temper out other scents for mixing blends...example such as sandalwood and vanilla are good together . Litsea good for base note of a citrus blend. just what I have in my scent cabinet LOL
