Teach Soap

Learning about cold process soap has rubbed my face in an inescapable fact: I am woefully ignorant about chemistry. I want to fix that. Do you want to fix that too?

Then check out a course that will start in JAN 2013: "Chemistry: Concept Development and Application" offered by Rice University FREE through the web site Coursera, a portal for 16 top notch universities offering free course content on the web. You don't get any official credit, but if you just want the knowledge in your head - you can't beat a free on-line course. The description says it can be taken by people without a chemistry background, but that some very basic concepts will be covered quickly. I plan on having a textbook at hand for those moments.
