Teach Soap

Yesterday I made a batch from this receipe
1c baking soda, 1 c slsa, 1/4 c kaolin clay, 1/4 c cornstarch, 2 tsp fragrance and 1/4- 1/3 glycerin which I ended up putting a tad more because it was dry, plus my coloring.
they seemed pliable yet just a tad crumbly, but as I kneeded them, they were fine. The issue is I made them 24hrs ago and they are still not dried, instead just a little more dried then when I made them. Aren't they suppose to be dry enough to crumble under running water?
How long do yours take to dry.
Oh and i did take one in the tub and they make lots of bubbles.

Sounds like you and I used the same recipe, but I didnt use any clay instead I added a tbl of mango butter. Like you I added extra glycerin to get it doughy, mine have been drying for several days and are still not where I would like for them to be in terms of dryness.

Depending on how you tweak your recipe, they can take a looooong time to dry. I got told by another soaper that hers take 15 days to fully harden.

I've tweaked and played with my recipe so they dry relatively quickly (24 - 36 hours), but it took a lot of testing, tweaking and trying.

Oh that's good to hear, I will then just let them continue to dry! I think I like these bubble bars much better then bath bombs.
Anyone have a favorite scent they like to use from BrambleBerry?

Turkish Mocha sounds yummy, I love the smell of coffee ,and chocolate and little spice. What I am not crazy about is something overly floral fruity, or things like pomegranate, pear, peaches and apples.
I was thinking of ordering 4 oz size or should I just get more of the 2oz size to see which ones I love more?

For me, Ginger Lime or Wasabi would be the perfect scent for a bath bomb or fizzy.

On the size I was thinking of smaller because if it doesn't own up to my expectations as far as strenght projection and likability.
