My Mom said this is her very favorite soap scent in the world, reminds her of good memories as a child. She asked if I could duplicate the scent and make some soap for her. It's called French Milled/Triple Milled soap with Jojoba Oil. My Mom is stuck on the jojoba oil part and thinks that is what I need to make it smell like it does, but I know there's a fragrance added.

But they don't call it by any specific name and the ingredient list doesn't give it away either. I'm new to the fragrance world, so don't quite have a nose for these things yet!

The item description merely says "Fragrance: Blend of lavender and green herbs with a hint of citrus."

I didn't see it here either

Is anyone familiar with this bar of soap that knows how it smells or knows anywhere I can get a duplication? Would be ever so grateful. I'd love to surprise my Mom with a never ending supply.

I have no idea. Jojoba oil is an easy one to add, but doesn't have a scent.

yeah I know I can add the oil. I just wish I knew how to replicate the scent - have no clue what "green herbs" the description refers to, lol. It has a very nice, fresh clean smell.

You may want to do a few trials with Q-tips. Like start with lavender, citrus and combos of: a sweetgrass, a lettuce, a rosemary, a basil etc. Have your mom smell them and see which one she thinks is close. I doubt the company would be too forthright in providing this information. If it is a clean scent you could always try: kentish rain, clean cotton etc. If you lived near me I would have you come over and get some dipping samples.

Thanks for the offer, Susie! :) I wish this specific soap had a name/title other than it being the "jojoba soap" like their other scents have names -- the fragrance finder website has many C&E dupes, but nothing for this one. I have a limited shelf of FOs as I'm new and a rookie nose for these things too, lol. I guess I'll have to take those few items and run with testing and I'll try the ones you suggested too. Can always use them for other things if they aren't a match!

try lavender and bergamot...the bergamot would bring in the green and citrus notes.

:D My mom has fallen in love with bergamot..I twisted her arm the other day and made her make a sugar scrub with me (we enter items into the county fair). All she could say was bergamot, until I let her smell the BB free sample of Black Amber/Lavender, which she declares smells like Emeraude (if anyone remembers that perfume from days gone by) and chose it for her scrub.
