Teach Soap

So here's the deal. I'm moving into a place on Saturday and I'm only renting a room. I have full access to the kitchen so that's not a problem. But the rules clearly state that I cant make anything 'smelly'; i.e. anything with fragrance in it, and they don't care about the difference between that and EO's. So I'm curious, how would you guys/gals get 'smell' into your soap? I'm thinking things that smell strong by themselves that are dried. Or powdered extracts. Am I on the right track here?

I've never had an extract or dried flower etc actually leave a scent. Surface flowers smell for a little bit, but not for very long.

Extracts or dried flowers will not add scent. If you want scented products could you ask a friend to make it at their place instead?

What sort of soap are you making? M&P or CP? Could you perhaps add the fragrance outside?

How about negotiating with your roomate/landlord and arranging a workplace in your room?

Neverthought about using somebody else's kitchen, hmmm, who could i bribe *cough* ask to use their kitchen...
So far ive only meet one of the roomies, a really nice guy who said in the whole time he's been there(2yrs) the other two havent so as used the kitchen. And ive only seen one of the others just in passing. So making a deal with all of them my be tricky.
Oh, and this would be CP and HP.
