here is my ""Hunters Soap" My mom is already pimping this one out to her dog club. I think I need to go make another batch and try to perfect my "cammo" look. LOL

noni, welcome back to CP soap making. I like the color it goes well with your scent. And I love the glitter on top - noticed that right away!

Dawn, that does look like a hunters soap. I would try adding two shades of green to the cammo look, no white.

Sometimes A Mistake is so much fun, You just have to do it again!

I guess I didnt realize how much white I still had. TBH I hoped the Anise powder that I added to it would darken it a bit more than it did. So that I would have 2 shades of brown. I think I am going to give this one another try this week and thicken up the batter more, and spoon it into the mold. To get a more realistic cammo. The visual results may not be what I envision, but I will get there. All I can do is keep trying.

Thank you everyone! Feels good to be back, getting ready to cut the loaf now, will post pics as soon as I'm able!. No colors used though unfortunately I didn't have any! working on that though! Of course now the soap bug has bitten once again!!

soapcakes, I LOVE that pink sooo pretty.

And thanks for all the wonderful feedback I am still at the stage where I need some back pats LOL (do we ever out grow that?) My mom posted a pic of it on fb and several people thought it was fudge...I was like "really?"
