Teach Soap

Does anyone know where online I can buy pipettes in bulk inexpensively? Does anyone try to save their pipettes, like put the bottle of eo or fo in a baggie with the pipette to use that same pipette repeatedly, or is it not worth it to do all of that? Thank you!

I get my pipettes from BB. I noticed that some FOs cause the pipettes to melt after some time, so I throw them away after using them.

I was wondering the same thing recently. It seems like the kind of thing that should be cheap! Just recently I needed some and rushed off to Michael's, $3.00 for 5 stinkin' pipettes!

try NG for them its the cheapest and quickest way. Also medical cups the little ones they put soaps in at hopital will do in a pinch. I got some from when I was in the hopsital they have all kinks of measurement on them.

I reuse my pipettes. Mine are held onto the bottle with a rubber band.

I bought the last bulk batch from Camden Gray. I've been tossing them, but am considering the rubberband idea, at least for things that aren't as caustic as the citrus-type oils. I hate throwing things away.

100 for $6 sure beats 5 for $3!

try to find some labware suppliers, unfortunately I don't know any in the US but I purchase my stuff always in Germany by labware suppliers. Pipettes in 500 pack. And I always discard them. The pipettes are too cheap to waste any time rinse them or risk contamination by storing and reusing a used pipette. Beakers, spatulas, disposable cups etc are affordable if you purchase them by wholesale supplier for labware. At least by my consumption volumes it's so.
