I do scent it but the smell is overpowering the scent. I was just wondering how to get rid of it so that the scent stood out and not that smell. I have tried blueberry delight, watermelon and pearberry but I still seem to have that smell in the bars.

I have never had that problem to that extent. Any funny smells have been light and go away when scented.
Maybe it's the High heat you are using??? Or, maybe you got really old M&P base - but that would be so rare.
Maybe you should contact the place you bought it and ask them.

At first I used about 1.5 ml to less than a cup of mp and that didn't work so I used about 3ml and I still smell it over the scent. I use the microwave in short bursts of 10 to 15 seconds and stir in between to see if it will melt before putting it back in for a few seconds.
