Teach Soap

So I got a bunch more FO samples from NG to try out. I think monkey farts smells medicinal... and darn it all... TINSEL smells like monkey farts!!! I was not impressed! Will see how they soap soonish. Maybe in my workshop!

I've used Monkey Farts in MP a time or two, and it smells great and...of course, bananas.


I just got in Sleigh Ride and Holiday Candy from BB today. Sleigh Ride smells amazing, like a Christmas candle or potpourri (but not as strong) OOB, can't wait to use it! Holiday Candy smells pretty OOB, but it doesn't blow me over. We'll see how it soaps! I also wasn't impressed with Almond Biscotti OOB, had that medicinal smell like you said, so I put a little in some rebatch I did today to see if it'd be better in soap, and the house smells like a sweet bakery.

I have been working on a wish list at WSP today in my boredom at work, (and like 57 other sites lol) getting ready for this "big storewide sale" starting on the 23rd, so I'll add that to it. We shall see if I am impressed with this sale.

I want to pick up another evergreen type fragrance before Christmas, and I really love the Forks Twilight-inspired FO from MMS, so I think I might order a bigger bottle of that.

Yeah, I'm interested to see this sale! I haven't had a great experience with wsp the last two times I've ordered. I waited 10 days for them just to ship my order! When I called to ask them what's up, I was told that because I'mnot spending 3000 a year, my package is not as important. Hello, there listed lead time was 2 days when I placed my order, not ten!

Oh wow, that's rude. Maybe they were unusually slammed, I dunno.... I've only spent $230 there since last fall, and I've never had trouble with their shipping.

I wondered about that Irena! I was looking at some FOs that were already on my wishlist today, and they are almost $10 for 2oz sizes, and I don't remember anything being that expensive before. Otherwise I wouldn't have wishlisted them haha. That's those JC Penney tactics!!

Edit: I looked back through some of my past orders, which isn't much really, and the only thing I noticed having gone up in price was 16oz Sodium Lactate from 6.43 to 7.06. Some of you with a larger order history might be able to verify, I mostly just buy FOs from them and the occassional little something so I won't have to get it from somewhere else and pay shipping, since I was placing an order anyway.

Almond Biscotti is very strong I use small amounts and usually cut it with almond, or vanilla or coconut. seems to smell better to me that way.
