Can I use mango butter soap base as face soap? I have about a pound of it left, it for my personal use and not for sale, also... I have tea tree oil on hand but what else would be good additives for skin? I have oily skin, and need something to counteract that. Can I add a mild exfoliant to it? First time making it and I'm a little nervous!

Yes you can use mango butter. Just don't go above 1 TBS of any oil or butter TOTAL per one lb. of MP base. If you face is oily, I would not add any butter or oil. Let the soap do the work for you. :)

Oh thank goodness! And thank you! I'm running out of the pour cleanser I got from my last facial and don't want to spend 40.00 for a 4 oz bottle, when I'm sure I can make something that's better for a tenth of it! Ha! Thank god I had a gift certificate I needed to spend when I bought it!
