What are some of the best oils as far as "non greasy" to make whipped butters?

What butters would be considered non greasy?

avocado & mango butter are pretty "non-greasy" butters.

I just have to add quick that any only oil + butter combination is going to be somewhat greasy, since that's the nature of oils and butters.

If you're looking for a whipped butter like sold in stores that have that non-greasy feel, you'll have to go a different route. Like maybe an emulsified body butter. I don't make those, so I can't really help you with too much info, except for a recipe

I keep meaning to make some, but I just never find the time.

SoapQueen used DriFlo to make hers less greasy feeling. I don't have any so I just used tapioca flour (starch) and it worked fine.

I use corn starch to cut back the greasy feeling, and it works pretty well.

I use Shea Butter, Grapeseed Oil, a touch of cornstarch (just a pinch), and vit. e oil for my body butters, which I call body creams. My clients love them. They start out with a slight greasy feel but just take a breath and the greasiness is gone. Hope that helps a little :)

I've also noticed that since I've started "triple whipping" my creams, it seems to be less greasy, although that may just be wishful thinking lol. It definitely helps if your Shea Butter has become just a little gritty, triple whipping seems to get rid of the grittiness.

The last whipped butter I made (which unfortunately did not survive the a/c going out over the summer) was cocoa butter, jojoba oil, and some tapioca starch. It was lovely. Too bad it melted and seperated and was a complete loss. Pretty much the entire batch. It was greasy though due to the cocoa butter. I prefer shea. I am wanting to order some different butters like avocado and hemp. I would like to try those.

I use a combination of oils but I do like to use regular coconut oil with them. I use dryflo to cut back on the greasiness and no matter what butter I seem to use after a couple min of applying it my skin absorbs it nicely and leaves me feeling very soft and smooth. I have also noticed that when using coconut oil, probably cause it's solid at room temp, I get more volume when with my whipped butters when I use it. I also notice a difference in the texture of my whipped butters when I use it. They tend to be a bit more fluffier then when I don't use regualr coconut oil.
