My Nana was very British, and I learned a lot of English words from her. Tart is one of them. It was a common word heard when Jerry Springer was on "That girl looks like a tart!" LOL :lol:

I don't know, I kinda like parchment paper better than freezer. The soap doesn't stick to parchment and I'm (10 batch newbie) finding that I have to practically peel the soap off the freezer paper(used it twice now). You are right about tape not sticking to parchment, though. The hardest part for me is lining those darn molds.

I've never had my soap stick to freezer paper! I have had parchment paper practically meld to my soap a couple of times though. Had to wet the soap and rub to get the darned paper off!!

I put the coated side toward the soap, but it still stuck. Maybe it's because I didn't gel that recipe and I hate waiting to unmold....I'm a "peeker", too. :lol:

I use parchment and it doesn't stick to soap but I have noticed another problem. At least with my last Cocoa butter based batch. Paper leaves traces on the soap. How can I describe it? like pleats maybe...

I call those "squishies". Where the paper had a bubble or a dent and it is reflected in the soap. You can get those with freezer paper too, they are annoying! :x
