Ok, So I stopped at Costco to buy some OO today, and on the way home I thought WTH, Might as well stop by Walmart and pick up some Coconut oil. (I haven't placed my big BB order, yet)

I bought all the LouAna's Coconut oil they had. ($5.98 for 31.5 FL OZ)

I don't have to melt the entire bottle down before using it, do I?
I can just scoop out what I need, correct?

I just started using this today since I used up my last of BB's last week. It was a lot easier to scoop out than I thought it would be. I'll blame it on the summer. We'll see if I still like it when I get closer to the bottom of the jar lol.

I have had a small one on the inside of my wrist from laying my lye water stirring spatula down on the edge of the sink, and then touching the wet spot where it was laying later when I was cleaning up. Of all ways. Learned my lesson, I always wear my sleeved gloves now.

So, you're the one that cleaned Walmart out. :lol:

LOL. Last week my local Wally World had tons. This past weekend I didn't quite have enough for my batch, so I ran over there (knowing they had a ton) and they were completely sold out! Ended up having to go to Food Lion, the only other place I knew that carried it.

maybe its my climate but every bottle of Lou-Ann Coconut oil I have bought has been liquid. My house has a pretty decent AC so not sure why it is not solidifying.

The LouAna coconut oil is the 76 degree oil rather than the 92 degree one, that's why it's liquid now.

Beezy, I'm pretty sure you'll find it less expensive to buy online from a place like Soaper's Choice if you want to get larger quantities.
