Naw, they seem to take it well. Of course, they don't smell super yummy like the coconut shampoo I sometimes use on them. But somethings are worth trading off.

This sounds funny but I've actually bathed with a dog shampoo bar and had my daughter with eczema/psoraisis use it and it is all gone (her psoraisis/eczema patches)!

This bar was originally made for a dog shampoo bar but someone else used it at home and swore by it so I tried it too and WOW! The olive oil in the recipe was infused with Calendula before using.

Calendula Doggie Shampoo (you can use a calculator to adjust your percentages but I have it written down in oz.)

Olive Oil 19 oz.
Coconut Oil 12oz.
Palm 8 oz.
Jojoba 2 oz.
Castor 2 oz.

Lye 5.97 oz. (discounted at 6%)
Water 14.74 oz.

Additives were:
Baby Oatmeal .75 oz.
Bulgarian Lavender EO .25 oz.
Helichrysum 12 drops (optional)
Dried Calendula Petals (optional) .50 oz.
