Just wanted to post this photo of what happens when you put beeswax in MP soap. Counter-intuitively, it doesn't harden. It softens. In fact, it softens so much that you can push your finger through it.



Also, the soap itself is a matted, dull color. It is not shiny and appears to be pitted.

Hi Everyone,

I have been experimenting - I like to try different things

I wanted to add some goodies to mp and I also wanted to harden the mp if I could. I have been adding all sorts of different things and I have managed to harden the mp quite a lot. It now has a lot less visible fingerprints and is really really hard.

Here is an example of what I have been making

Well the above are the logs that I have been making. Now before you all get excited about the peaks, its a mold I had specially made of my friends cp soap - she agreed to let me have it and make a mold.

Anyway the log on the left is pink lemonade fo and has beeswax, glitter, non bleeding red BB color, apricot kernel oil, olive oil and cp like mp white base.

The log on the right has calendula and an eo blend and is called Thai Fusion. In it are these ingredients not in huge quantities but still they are in there and they do make a difference IMHO - I made the bar with all the goodies I like the sound of for me and I wanted to share the experiment with you.
Heres the ingredients
Green Tea extract
goats milk powder
silk
glycerin
pink and gold mica
pink glitter BB the safe one
Beeswax
Mango Butter and
Jojoba oil
mp cp like base white

Now I have to tell you the bubbles are fantastic and they last really well, the hardness is wonderful and the feel is so soft and silky on your skin. This bar is a real treat.

I just wanted to share my beeswax experiment with you all, I am going to stick to this its proving to be no sweating still and great to use.
