I have no idea why it doesn't dissolve in mp. I never even questioned it. LOL

I've tried every brand of embeddable paper on the market and have still not been successful in getting a finished soap that worked to my satisfaction. They look okay for a few days, but then begin to bleed. I've sprayed with hair spray, Krylon acryllic fixative, allowed to dry for days before embedding, etc. Tried water-dissolving, tattoo paper, etc. It seems to depend on a bunch of things - brand of soap base you're using (I use SFIC), whether your inkjet printer ink is water-based or pigment-based (I've tried both). I've ultimately decided it's not worth it to buy a laser printer (actually, I simply don't have the space for another piece of equipment). I even took images to Staples and had them try it on every printer in the store.
If someone has more hints, I'll keep trying
