Hubby says I have to stay on a budget....so I had to keep my latest order to under $50. So what's my "beef"? It's that it's TOO HARD to decide what to get!

The last several days = place items in basket....remove items from basket.....put them back in.....take them out again.....put them back in....decisions!!.....

So after much debate on my next soaping projects, I finally put an order in this afternoon. And then I held my breath while I thought of how many days it will take to get here (hoping FedEx won't take too long with it!), and how many more weeks I have until I can place the next order!
:D

I keep a wishlist and every month I buy a couple/few things from it. But yes, it is super hard to decide which ones!!!

LOL I usually go into vapor lock when shopping. Especially the colorants and scents. I can never make up my mind, I get confused. I have to set my own budget. Right now I am using my unemployment checks to finance my habit with the hope that by the end of summer I have enough product to do some shows. I already have my first one scheduled. :)

I also have to admit that I am reluctant to buy from other vendors for the very same reason....well that and the fact that working with BB has been so easy and my orders have always been perfect. I love the videos and the blog and the forum so much. I really believe that they have found the right recipe for customer support and easy ways to generate new business.

Ahh, yes, ladies, the WISHLIST. Goodness, I can't control myself over that thing either! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has problems making soaping decisions.

@Dawn: good luck with your first show! How exciting! And definitely agree about BB's customer service, blogs, and videos......I have lost count as to how many times I've watched those videos.....they are so helpful!

BB has extremely effective marketing techniques. They certainly know how to separate a crafty person from his or her money. Not saying their products aren't worth it or anything. They just have extremely effective techniques. The blog, the videos, they all are very effective at making the consumer want the product to begin with, and links are installed that link right to the website ad kits needed to make the products. Teachsoap pops up immediately on google searches such as "how to make soap", and teachsoap then forwards the consumer immediately to BB. Recommendations for future purchases are loaded into just about every blog post, video, etc.
Plus they send out the free FO samples, which directs the consumer back the blog to see what to make with the samples, which leads to purchasing additional product, etc. etc.

Pretty amazing really.

I like the flat rate M&P.

You should tell your husband that is really more economical to place large orders because the shipping is proportionately less! Better to buy $100 every other month than $50 per month. Then you'd be SAVING money.

yeah there are bad in such a good way.... When we find a bigger house I made on having my own craft room. right next to sink and table for picture studio. I'm such an addict. Oh and my orders usually run over 100 bucks from BB.

Reading all your input posts and I just can't wait to get this move out of the way so I won't need to be on a soaping budget!! I've also got to keep to my pledge that we won't be moving with more than 60 boxes total, so I'm trying to keep supplies low so I don't have to pack much more.

I'm losing my dedicated craft room with the sale of this house :( , but one thing I'm really looking forward to about this upcoming move is that we'll be within 5 hours of BB's warehouse. Woohoo!! I might also have to plan a day trip to Otion once we're settled in.
