Teach Soap

I got one colour in a jar and all of the rest were baggies. I need to buy some jars to put them in, I find the baggies are just way too messy. I waste 1/2 the colourant on my hands!

Call me picky, but before I ordered my colorants from Oregon Trail Soaps, I made sure they were packaged in plastic containers, and not baggies.

I guess i'll call BB before I place my order to make sure they'll be shipped in plastic containers, since it seems like some are getting baggies and some are getting containers.

Got my colorants! So much nicer than in the pictures..

I wish the Neon Purple was in-stock when I ordered (it's so bright it almost hurts your eyes..lol) I guess the manufacture made a muti-ton batch incorrectly, so the owner of OTS is waiting to see what her supplier is going to do.

Hrm, is their neon purple CP stable? I know the ones I've seen will turn grey

Here ya go.. It looks a lot brighter in person.. I took this picture with my iPhone.

Check out the neon purple from TKB trading, see if the ingredients are similar? TKB's goes grey I'd LOVE to find a neon purple that stays purple!

On a cleaner note.... I used NG's Neon Purple (liquid in glycerin/castor--not sure which) and it turned orange. I think the notes at TKB says theirs turns orange too. I have TKB's Purely Purple and Red Cabbage liquids ordered, and I just got a nice purple in CP (though not neon) by mixing ultramarine blue and ultramarine violet pigments (more violet than blue).

I mix fired up fuchsia and ultraviolet blue ("neon" blue from BB) to get a nice neon purple.

Nice! but I didn't get the ultraviolet blue, just the ultramarine blue. So sad I will have to make another BB order!
