Gosh, Making soap is addictive! I just finished making another batch (a dupe of LUSH Honey I washed the Kids..... DEAD ON, BTW)

and the colorants i'm using are from NG! (liquid colorants)

Ok, I cut my first loaf (Scented in Victoria Secret Bombshell), and all is well.. Seems like I maybe used an ounce too much water, but it was still easy to cut.

I started off using this metal miter box thingy I bought a LONG time ago from one of my suppliers I use for my candle business (I got it on sale for $3.00).. The cutter sucked because of my mini mounds being too tall... Thankfully I bought a crinkle cutter from BB... I ended up switching to the crinkle cutter half way through slicing the loaf.... Need to order another regular cutter from BB.



Can't wait to slice the other two... I need to figure out a way to slice even pieces with the crinkle cutter.. Any ideas? I'm thinking of cutting a piece of cardboard out, drawing lines, and using it as a template to get even slices?

Interesting soap Beezy! Do the bubbles lather white? For cutting, you could make slight marks with a cutter or a knife at the top and measure with a ruler.

Nice work Beezy!! Aren't colourants addictive? I love mixing them together to get new colours!

TKB has a lot of nice colourants, but they use baggies. Cheap baggies with crappy zippers none the less
