So I finished cleaning the house and thought "I NEED to soap!", I needed to do a gradient soap! I got all my stuff together, melted the oils, mixed the lye... made my colour. Added the lye to the oils. Hrm, that's odd... usually it starts to cloud up right away. Today it stayed "clear". Mixed it a little with the SB off, seemed fine. Turned the SB on and holymotherofOMGwhatdoIdo?! Soap on a stick blender!

What do I do? I beat that mother into submission! Oh yeah! Take THAT soap gremlins!!! I may also have yelled "Go F*** yourselves gremlins!!!!" while cackling gleefully in a true mad scientist manner.

And I still managed my gradient.

Mad Scientist 1, Gremlins 0. :lol: :lol: :twisted:

I'm going to keep an eye on it so the little buggers don't sneak back and try to overheat it. Sneaky little blighters!

Oh, no Hestey.......do not tell me that Bamboo FO was the problem! I've been wanting to try this one, but now it sounds like it is a difficult one. Clarify, please! If it was the Bamboo that brought the gremlins, has this happened to you before with this FO? Where did you get the FO? Details!

Same recipe as always, so I'm sure it wasn't that. Had to have been the FO. :( It is "fresh bamboo" from WSP.

My fresh bamboo from BB did that too but soap still turned out nice and love the FO worth the gremlins lol

Fresh Bamboo from BB has behaved pretty well for me. No soap on a stick blender! Glad you beat those gremlins into submission. :lol:
